DEPAUW'S IN THE NEW YORK TIMES. DOAH!

I got an e-mail from Danks noting a story on DePauw's Greek system running in tomorrow's NYT. Specifiacally, the story is about Delta Zeta. If you haven't been reading The DePauw, I'll give you a moment to catch up:

No time for that? Well, I'll try and sum up for you. DZ's membership was down, forcing Nationals to take action. As one of America's largest associations for the education and advancement of women, they decided to take a stand:

No Fatties.

The women of the house were essentially asked to re-rush for reps from DZ HQ, who then asked the dead-weight to pack their bags. For rush, they asked most of the women to stay in their rooms while some money-girls from IU did the recruitment work for them. Apparently, this caused a subsequent stir. Who knew?

So anyway, now there's a story in tomorrow's New York Times. It's got everything from Propsom's traditional greek sterotype survey to quotes from editors of The DePauw. Man, and here I thought I needed to stick with the Wall Street Journal for me DePauw-related coverage.

ON AN UNRELATED NOTE: There's an awesome quote from a prof in a Letter to the Editor: "If Gerald Ford were alive today, he'd roll over in his grave. "

I'm gonna hope that was a joke.
