TV, BOOZE AND APPLE: THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS

The final four episodes of season three of Arrested Development are going to air on FOX ... opposite the Opening Ceremonies of the Winter Olympics, but still. Meanwhile, word on the street is that both ABC and Showtime are in talks to pick it up ...

ABSOLUT LEADIN: I don't know if you've seen the new Absolut Vodka ad campaign, but it includes a TV spot with the phrase "The Absolut Case of the Mondays" superimposed over a scene from Office Space. Awesome.

SPEAKING OF BOOZE: Sal reports that Rob and Brad have taken over my beloved Trials Pub in San Jose. Please raise your next pint of Boddington's in their honor.

RIGHT BACK WHERE WE STARTED FROM: Just when I'm thinking I'm sick of The O.C., they whip out a plot about getting Marissa back into school so she can graduate with her friends ... and one of the characters is carrying around a sign that says "Marissa Cooper Graduates!" Also awesome. AND THEN they bring back Marissa's little sister that was shipped off to boarding school early in season one. AND THEN they make a reference to Johnny's friend, "Bizarro Seth." Even awesome-er.

On a side note, I can't find a decent "Donna Martin Graduates!" link. C'mon, Google!

LAST ONE: Daring Fireball gives us "iLife ’06 From the Perspective of an Anthropomorphized Brushed Metal Interface."
